Terry Davis developed a custom operating system, dubbed TempleOS using HolyC, a language he developed himself. It featured a custom-built text editor, compiler, and kernel. The piece of tech was, and is, extremely impressive as Davis undertook the entire project as the sole developer.
Davis claimed that he built the operating system under the command of God, who requested that he construct an operating-system successor to the Second Temple.

struggles.txt

Davis had many struggles with mental illness, battling schizophrenia and consequential manic episodes. He was convinced that there were suited figures attempting to follow him, causing him to dismantle his car in the desert to find tracking devices and walk alongside a highway before being picked up by a police officer
Although his communication skills were impacted by his schizophrenia, he remained perfectly articulate throughout computer-related conversation.

Davis tragically passed away after being struck by a train in August of 2018.
