Mainstreet U.S.A was designed to look like a midwest town from around the early 20th century. The land was heavily inspired by Walt Disney's own experiences growing up in Marceline, Missouri.

Mainstreet is home to many shops, restuarants and things like double decker busses and horse drawn carriages, but the only attraction it contains is Great Moments with Mr.Lincoln. While it may not contain any thrilling rides, Mainstreet is home to Walt's Disney apartment. Above the firehouse there is a window with a lamp that is always lit, the lamp was lit in the past to signify when Walt was in the park and now it's kept on to honor that Walt is always in the park in spirit.
