Disneyland is one of the most well known places across the globe. Every year thousands of people visit from all over the world to take pictures infront of Sleeping Beauty castle and ride dozens of rides. Not only is Disneyland a fun place to visit, it's filled with a vast amount of history.

Disneyland first opened its gates on July 17th, 1955, which was later nicknamed Black Sunday as the asphalt was still soft from being poured that morning. Despite its rocky opening day, Disneyland went on to have an incredily successful on holds one of the most icon sybomls recognizable today SLeeping Beauty castle.
On opening day the park hosted five unique lands immersing guests into feeling like they're in an entirely different place. As the years have gone by Disneyland has gained 4 new lands and a plethora of new rides, while keeping many of the original rides and maining all of the opening day lands.
