Disneyland is one of the most well known places in the world. Every year millions of people visit ,from all walks of life, Disneyland to take pictures infront of Sleeping Beauty castle and ride dozens of rides. Not only is Disneyland a fun place to visit, it's filled with a vast amount of history.

Opening the gates

Disneyland first opened its gates on July 17th, 1955, which was anything but a perfect opening day. Despite this, the park has gone on to have an incredily successful on holds one of the most icon sybomls recognizable today Sleeping Beauty castle.

On opening day the park hosted five unique lands immersing guests with the feeling that they're in an entirely different place. As the years have gone by Disneyland has gained 4 new lands and a plethora of new rides, while keeping many of the original rides and maining all of the opening day lands.
