In the Past two years Reggaéton has revolutionized into a new sound. Two countries that are coming up on top within the genre of reggéaton are Mexico and Chile. Originally this genre of music was specific to Puerto Rico where this genre was born. Artists like Yeyo, Doony Graff (El Sereno Moreno), Lila Sky, El Mallila, Pretty Smilee and bad gyal etc have seen more popularity within these past two years.

Coming from México City Nezahualóyotl or NezaYork Doony graff has become one of the few artists who have blown up this past year within the genre of Reggéaton Mexa. Graff specalizies in Neo-Perreo and has taken inspiration from Spanish artist like Yung Beef who is also know to have a smiliar sound. He along with others within the genre are starting to make a name for themselves worldwide.

Bad Gyal is a Spanish artist that started her career in 2016. One of her popular releases being her EP Slow Wine gaining traction after the release Fiebre. She has since collaborated with other well known artists like Rauw Alejandro,Treno, Karol G, Ivy Queen etc.

El Malilla also know as "Tu Maliante"is a Mexico City native that recently rose to fame within the past year. One of his most popular collabs with other local Mexico City artist like Yeyo and El Bogueto ( El Bo)
