Japan deals with many earthquakes, most of them are not major. Japan also has many volcanoes, for example Mount Fuji and the Showa Volcano. Japan also has many mountain ranges, for example the Japanese Alps, Kitakami Mountains, and the Ou Range. Japan is filled with many rivers like the Shinano River, the Tone River, and the Ishikari River. Japan is separated into four major islands Honshu, Kyushu, Hokkaido, and Shikoku.
