A Brief introduction

Hello, my name is Maddie Whitestine. I grew up here in Santa Rosa, I recently got my bachelors at SFSU and I am looking to get my masters. I graduated with a degree in Visual Communication Design and I am looking to do my masters in Software Engineering so I am taking some classes at the JC to fill requirements before I apply for a masters program. I have taken a couple web development classes already and I found it to be very fun and I enjoy the challenges that comes with it. I eventually would like to work as a Front End Developer so I can utilize my design degree as well as my Software Engineering skills.

In the meatime though, I recently just started working full time at the Santa Rosa Airport for a company called KaiserAir as their Technical Document Coordinator. In my free time outside of classes and work, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, swimming, and crocheting

Midterm Assignment

Overall, this has been a really enjoyable assignment. I have liked doing it step by step over the past weeks to eventually get to this final product. One thing I have struggled with is keeping track of all the requirements for each week. There was a couple times where I missed something or did something wrong because there was so many requirements to keep track of.

The Midterm Subject

I chose to do an octopus because they are so freaky looking and I kind of love that. They are my favorite animal and I truly find them fascinating. One thing I loved learning more about is their hunting techniques and how easily they can squeeze into small spaces.
