Hey there! I'm Marcela Ojeda, and I'm from Santa Rosa, California.
I'm taking this web development class because I want to learn how to build websites from scratch.
This skill will be super useful when I launch my own business.
Plus, I'm working towards getting my business marketing certificate,
so this class fits perfectly. What really draws me to web development is the chance to be creative.
I love designing and making things, and building websites is a whole new way to do that.
I'm really looking forward to learning all the ins and outs of creating websites that look good and
work well for my future business.
Creating this website for my midterm project was definitely a learning experience. Some of the CSS code gave me a hard time, especially figuring out how to get the fonts to look just right. And then, my computer decided to break down right in the middle of midterm week! That really threw me for a loop, but I kept at it. Even with the challenges, I found the whole process surprisingly fun. I was really amazed by how much code goes into even a simple website. You don't realize how much work is happening behind the scenes. It's been challenging, but I'm learning a ton, and I'm excited to keep improving. I hope to make websites that aren't just functional, but that people actually enjoy using and looking at.
