An octopus (pl.: octopuses or octopodes) is a soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusk of the order Octopoda.

Octopuses are highly intelligent with complex nervous systems and excellent vision. Their bodies are extremely flexible, allowing them to squeeze through tight spaces.
