This section would include a cursory exploration of the historical Silk Road and the heartland theory of Alfred Mackinder which posited that the engine of history was the hordelands of Central Asia and Eastern Europe. Would introduce my own travels along this road. As I may actually use this I want even this short paragraphs to be divided into divs and articles
This section would primarily concern Spykmans theory of the "Rimland" mainly concerning the Indian Ocean, Gulf, Red Sea and meditteranean. The difficulty here would be the signficant crossover with landroutes, particularly where Europe is concerned and the inclusion of East Africa beyond Ethiopia due to Aksums historical control of the Bab Al Mandab strait
This section would focus on the lands united by the silver trade begining with the Silver strike at Potosi in 1642. Connection with the other roads would be emphasized as with the others particularly that of Iberia and south and east China seas as the trade took place in the Philippines. This section would include significant exploration of Mesoamerican and Andean civilizations as well.
