a German dog breeder, with the aim of creating a versatile working dog. German Shepherds were developed by crossing various herding dogs from
different regions in Germany, resulting in a breed that is intelligent, agile, and obedient. They were primarily used for herding sheep but
soon became popular for other tasks like search-and-rescue, police work, and military service due to their keen sense of smell and strong protective
instincts. As for their habitat, German Shepherds are highly adaptable, thriving in a variety of environments, from rural areas and farms to urban
homes, provided they have enough space to run and exercise. They are typically found in households, police stations, and military units worldwide,
as they excel in active, engaged roles.

so they require an environment that challenges them mentally, like puzzle toys, obedience training, or tasks that engage their problem-solving abilities.
